Women’s emergency hotline Austria

Free crisis counselling by telephone for women, children and young people affected by violence. The hotline can be reached 24 hours a day, every day. They offer Information on legal and social issues in connection with violence against women and children. They can refer you to regional women’s protection facilities and counselling centres. Help center for female refugees in Vienna

The Diakonie has a special helpcenter for women. All the legal advisors and social workers, who work there, are female and only women and small children are allowed to enter the center. They offer help in every possible situation. From legal issues and help for victims of violence and human trafficking to finding work and accommodation. Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic in Warsaw for Ukrainian Refugees

From 1 March 2022, the Inflancka Specialist Hospital opened a Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) for Ukrainian women (refugees) who have a certificate issued by the Polish Border Guard or an imprint of the stamp of the Polish Border Guard in their travel document confirming their legal stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland. All services provided in the Gynaecological and Obstetrics Clinic as well as in the Inflancka Hospital Admission Room to Ukrainian patients with the above mentioned documents will be provided free of charge.

Support for women and girls affected by war: list of initiatives available in Ukraine

Since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine on 24 February, more than 2 million Ukrainians – the vast majority women and children – have fled to neighbouring countries. The UN estimates that 54 per cent of people in need of assistance from the ongoing crisis are women, and evidence shows that women and girls are disproportionately affected by conflict. There are many initiatives supporting women and girls affected by the war in Ukraine, ranging from major international organizations to small civil society actions.

Support for female refugees in Vienna

The Diakonie has a special counseling center for female refugees. Only females and children can enter the offices and all the employees and translators are women. They offer help with work, health, family issues, legal status and any other questions you might have. The website is German, but they offer counseling in Russian, English and many different languages.
