Lithuania host Ukrainian Film Days to support Ukrainian filmmakers

On 10-11 and 14 May, Lithuania will host Ukrainian Film Days, during which the audience will be presented some of the most interesting works by Ukrainian filmmakers of recent years, telling about humanity, complex feelings, experiences in the face of war, and hope. Ukrainian Film Days are organized by the Lithuanian Film Centre, in support of the initiative of the Ukraine relief fund CinemaAid to hold marathons of films by Ukrainian filmmakers around the world.

Call for applications for grants

The Lithuanian Film Center under the Ministry of Culture announces the acceptance of applications for grants from Ukrainian citizens, film culture or art creators. Adult citizens of Ukraine, film culture or art creators, who have been granted temporary protection in the Republic of Lithuania are entitled to receive grants. The amount of the grant is 1800 EUR, for the period of 3 months.

Founded by the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, International Film Festival Rotterdam and the European Film Academy, the International Coalition for Filmmakers at Risk’s mission is to advocate for and to act in solidarity with filmmakers at risk.
