Residencies for Women at Centre Pompadour are available to Ukrainian women displaced by war. CENTRE POMPADOUR is the first and only feminist residency in Europe. It offers a free residency at CENTRE POMPADOUR during the summer of 2022. Female artists are welcome to share a room as artist couple as well or bring your child/ren (the rooms are spacious and all have their private bathroom). Duration of residency: In case of an emergency residency you are welcome to stay from the end of June to the end of September.
The cultural institution ‘Imperfecthouse’ in Essen (NRW) is allocation hotel rooms to refugees from the creative scene in their countries of origin. Additionally they offer stages, studios, workshops and much more so that you can continue working. The offer is free of charge.
Solidarity Residencies in Finland are available for Ukrainian Artists. To address the catastrophic situation in Ukraine a group of independent art organisations have joined together to pool resources and share information to provide residencies as well as to work together to build diverse and extensive networks of solidarity. At 6 rue d’Aboukir, 75002 Paris you will find a reception and advisory office where artists are individually received and where their needs are identified. They also offer a space where artists can send time or arrange appointments. They provide computers with free internet access. It’s also a spaces for artistic practice where artists can come to work occasionally or in the form of residencies. Victoria Square Project in Greece forms an Emergency Residency for artists of any nationality that have or are currently being displaced, fleeing the war in Ukraine. The Residency can host either one family or up to four artists at the same time, depending on the duration required for each case. The Emergency Residency is planned to last until August.
