Aalto University in Helsinki supports students and researchers arriving from Ukraine

The Finnish Refugee Advice Centre is a non-governmental organisation founded in 1988 by other Aalto University offers scholars fleeing from Ukraine a possibility to continue their academic work at Aalto University during the war in Ukraine.Aalto accepts applications for temporary visiting scholar positions in Aalto’s research fields (ca 20 positions) from researchers working in Ukraine based universities whose work has been interrupted by the war, and who are fleeing from Ukraine.Aalto University also offers study rights without fees and with scholarships to Ukraine’s university students – applications are now closed but may be reopened in May.

The No One is Illegal Network (Ingen människa är illegal in Swedish) works  to provide practical support to people who are forced to live undocumented after having had their applications for asylum refused.The No One is Illegal Network consists of local groups.
