New Europe Film Sales, a world sales company in Warsaw (Poland), is making a call for special distribution of the Ukrainian film REFLECTION (2021) directed by Valentyn Vasyanovych. Both the director and the producer of the film, Vladimir Yatsenko, are staying in Kyiv to protect the city against Russian aggression. New Europe Film Sales asks for help to share the story of REFLECTION with audiences across the globe and to financially support the people who made it and are now striving for survival in Kyiv. Therefore, they offer to assist with all deliverables at no cost and to renounce the right to any commission sending 100% revenues to producers in case distributors or festival programmers are interested in screening the film in their territories.
The movie tells the story of an Ukrainian surgeon captured by the Russian military forces in the war zone in Eastern Ukraine and tortured while in captivity.
