Children’s film screening for Ukrainian children in Hungary

Hungary

In partnership with the Polish Border Crossing – Children’s Film Festival, the team of Primanima World Festival of First Animation, the educators of BABtér (an incubator house for animation and graphic arts), on behalf of Manifeszt Association (ASIFA Hungary) are organizing children’s films screenings for the Ukrainian refugee children in Hungary. Several Hungarian animation directors and Kecskemétfilm also support us, and we are offering more than 10 animated short programmes for children. These films are all without dialogues, are aimed at several age groups, and have been selected by children’s film experts, one by the Primanima team. The screenings have already started and more and more organizations are joining the initiative. We believe in the motto of Border Crossing and hope that the screenings can be “a moment of wonder for children, a moment for parents to breathe.”
