From May 2-6, 2022, SOFA The School of Film Advancement (joinsofa.org) will hold a digital workshop for alumni from Ukraine. They will be joined by our Belarusian alumni who are living in exile.
Besides connecting, strengthening our worldwide community, and developing projects, the main goal is to provide specific information by experienced experts and fund representatives of various support schemes, as the continuation of their cultural work is needed more than ever.
The one-week workshop will o er an overview of tangible possibilities to professionally settle in new territories as well as methods and strategies for project development in this challenging situation.
Now the SOFA team is helping their alumni with needed practical advice on navigating through the bureaucracy and the provision of high-level industry contacts.
The workshop will be open to new participants from these countries, who plan to realize a structural project in the field of film/AV.
