Open Call for Ukrainian films: Barcelona Human Rights Film Festival

Festival de Cine Derechos Humanos de Barcelona will take place between 1st – 10th of December. The call for application is now open and they are very interested in Ukrainian films.

The philosophy of the festival is to show films that make us think, awaken our conscience, denounce injustice and reflect the social and cultural diversity of humanity. This is the objective of The Human Rights Film Festival, which will celebrate its 19 annual festival this year.

The Human Rights Film Festival, with the central headquarter in Barcelona, is the oldest independent Human Rights Film Festival and one of the most important festivals on Human Rights in all Spain and one of Spain’s most important and widely internationally established festival on Human Rights.

The Barcelona Human Rights Festival has already opened a call for films to be received for its 19th edition, which you can send through the submission platforms. Over the years, the project has become an international benchmark in promoting the independent film industry in terms of Human Rights. It has been officially nominated for two consecutive years by ICCAR (International Coalition of Inclusive and Sustainable Cities) of UNESCO as a benchmark of good practices in human rights.
