Education for Ukrainians in Estonia is available. Children and young people who have arrived in Estonia can participate in formal or non-formal education. Government of Estonia fully supports the reception of war refugees in the country.

Estonian Academy of Arts offers Ukrainian students free study opportunities at the faculties of Fine Arts, Design and Art Culture until the situation in their country stabilises. Both MA and BA level students are welcome to apply. EKA will also announce extension of admission period for degree studies for Ukrainian students.

Since 2014, Mondo has provided food and medical assistance to internally displaced persons and residents of the crisis area in Ukraine, supported the work of psychologists and launched a human rights education program for schools in the crisis area. In recent years, Mondo has focused on educational and psychosocial activities in Eastern Ukraine. Mondo’s work in Ukraine has been supported by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and private donors.
