We are Godmother (@omgodmother), a Berlin-based band creating catchy pop songs with a dark sense of humour. Following our first album in 2018, we now have new songs ready to release. We are looking for a director(s) to work with this spring and summer to produce music videos and other audiovisual content. There is a limited budget.
Previously, through our DIY efforts and networks, a clip of ours was selected by the Pornfilmfestival Berlin, and other songs by our bandleader have been licensed to films that premiered at the Berlinale, the Toronto International Film Festival and Achtung Berlin. Besides other festivals and concerts throughout Germany, France and Switzerland, we have performed at the Luststreifen Film Festival Basel and the Teddy Award Party Berlin.
Acts whose music and videos we enjoy include David Bowie, Molly Nilsson, Devo, Perfume Genius and SSION.
