With a Ukrainian passport, regional public transportation is free in all areas of Germany. Your passport will be handled as a valid transportation ticket. This regulation applies to all regional trains and city transportation within Germany. You need either the “0-Euro-Tickets” (as provided by Deutsche Bahn) or a valid Ukrainian passport.
