Traveling by Train to Budapest

Traveling by train to Budapest has changed greatly since 21st of March 2022 if you are a Ukrainian Refugee. The process will not longer take place in railway stations but in the BOK sports hall (formerly known as Syma Hall) . The Hungarian Athletics Federation has made the BOK sports hall available to care for the refugees. As of Monday, 21st of March, the defence committee of Budapest has set up a new transit shelter there.

Shelter Mobile Team by Menedék

The team is made up of professionals who provide support to refugees placed in temporary accommodation on issues related to residence, family reunification, employment, long-term settlement, health and education.
