The EVIA FILM PROJECT initiative of the Thessaloniki Film Festival (Greece), planned and executed by the Ministry of Culture & Sports, makes part of the special rehabilitation and reconstruction program for Evia island, aiming to transform the island into an international pole of Green Cinema following last summer’s devastating wild fires.
EVIA FILM PROJECT is taking place on the island of Evia in June 15th-19th, 2022.

The range of projects eligible to take part in EVIA FILM PROJECT includes full-length fiction films, documentaries, new media and animation films from all over the globe. All selected projects should have ecological sustainability as their core or wider subject.
EVIA FILM PROJECT is happy to announce the first two cash prizes accompanying the Agora Green Awards, which amount to a sum of 10,000 euros, are already announced.

Secondly, the Co-Production Award is accompanied by a 4,000-euro cash prize and it applies to projects that have a producer and a director attached and could be in all stages of development.
